**THE JOB:**
The primary responsibility of the VIP Lounge Supervisor is to ensure the daily operations of both Lounges are run efficiently and that all Representatives are providing excellent service in accordance with department and property policies, practices and procedures.
+ Ensure adherence to providing excellent service consistent with VIP Lounge service standards and Forbes Travel Guide 5 Star service.
+ Oversee the VIP Lounge departments on a shift basis and assume full responsibility for the departments in the absence of the VIP Lounge Manager.
+ Inform the Director of Hotel Operations or VIP Lounge Manager of all pertinent information related to the department and report irregularities and problems as they occur along with recommendations for solutions.
+ Provide a positive, empowering, and productive work environment through setting an example and consistency of daily work habits and standards.
+ Evaluate service standards of staff to ensure consistency of standards.
+ Processes all reservations and requests from guests, Casino Hosts, Executives, and branch offices including health spa, golf, restaurant, and travel reservations.
+ Proactively greet, interact, and assist all staff in a professional manner to foster and promote a cooperative and blissful work environment.
+ Evaluate staffing levels in accordance with business demand, providing appropriate adjustments whenever possible.
+ Own all requests and complaints; respond and resolve issues immediately and follow up to ensure a positive resolution and guest’s satisfaction.
+ Assist registered guests in person and over the telephone.
+ Maintain professional industry knowledge, in order to, suggest and confirm all dining, entertainment and activity in the Las Vegas area; be able to review and confirm restaurants, shows, golf courses, spas, nightclubs and tours.
+ Strictly enforce the privacy and confidentiality of the guests and limit requests for information pertaining to guests in accordance with hotel policies.
+ Inspect grooming and attire of staff; rectifying any deficiencies.
+ Conduct daily team update meetings with staff to review all information pertinent to the day’s business.
+ Ensure security of guest room access.
+ Maintain all departmental assets including equipment repairs and maintenance and ensure all departmental areas (FOH and BOH) are maintained, clean, and organized.
+ Respond to emergency situations as necessary by following departmental procedures, staying calm, and assisting Security as needed.
**A GREAT CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:**
+ Minimum age of 21.
+ At least 2 years of equivalent work experience in Casino Marketing, VIP Services, VIP Front Desk, VIP Concierge Services
+ Excellent customer service skills.
+ Able to lead and mentor a team.
+ Ability to operate office equipment, (i.e., Fax machines, copiers, etc.).
+ Basic math skills.
+ Strong decision-making ability.
+ Have interpersonal skill to deal effectively with all business contacts.
+ Professional appearance and demeanor.
+ Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, the Internet, and Property Management Systems.
+ Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.
