**PRIMARY PURPOSE:**
As a Valent Attendant, you will set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create **WOW** memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.
**PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Warmly greet all arriving guests at the Valet Entrance while providing courteous, efficient, and enthusiastic valet parking services
+ Collect a vehicle claim check and retrieve the guest’s vehicle for their departure
+ Accommodate guests requiring special assistance and aid
+ Report issues and/or potential problems to security or immediate supervisor to avoid traffic congestion and delays at the valet entrance
+ Assist in regulating the movement and flow of vehicles to avoid traffic congestion
+ Answer guest questions about hotel registration, restaurants, events, activities, and attractions
+ Resolve guest problems within the scope of authority, otherwise refer to the supervisor on duty
+ Report all alleged thefts or missing items to the supervisor and/or hotel security for further investigation
+ Assist bell persons with the movement of luggage as necessary
+ Perform other job-related duties as requested
**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:**
+ Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:**
+ Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
**PREFERRED:**
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ Two (2) years of experience working in a service related positions
+ Experience working in a similar resort setting
+ Bilingual
