Registered Nurse

We are a JCAHO accredited Ambulatory Surgery Center in the northwest side of the valley with primary focus in Pain Management and Orthopedic Surgery. Seeking a full time Registered Nurse. Must think quickly in a fast-paced environment, use good judgment and organize their work to assure all patients receive quality care. Experience in Pre-Op, OR, or PACU preferred but New Grads are welcome. Shifts are Monday thru Friday. Working hours do vary by day depending on case load. Time management skills are particularly important for this position. Responsibilities Monitor patient’s condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care. Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to physicians Inspect the facility and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds etc.) Skills Proven experience as a registered nurse Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures Excellent knowledge of emergency care In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination etc.) and willingness to follow them at all times A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Responsible and compassionate Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills Patient with excellent problem-solving skills Valid nursing license ACLS/BLS required Job Type : Full-time Salary: $32.00 – $35.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Disability insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Medical specialties: Pain Medicine Surgery Physical setting: Outpatient Standard shift: Day shift Supplemental schedule: Overtime Weekly schedule: Monday to Friday No weekends
