As a practitioner with our client, you will take time to know and understand your patients. You will build a trusting relationship, thanks to small patient panels and appointments that are longer than average. What you will do: Responsible for providing Internal Medicine/Family Practice Services to patients. Provides medical patient care by interviewing, examining, and treating clinical patients. Educates patients and families on wellness, prevention, and early detection. Provides referrals based on examination and patient needs. Participates in quality improvement, management, continuing education, and patient care programs. Assists in the resolution of complaints, requests, and inquiries from patients. Maintains confidentiality of all patient information according to federal guidelines and regulations. Completes medical records (EMR) documentation daily. Covers night calls as needed. Who you are: M.D. or D.O. with current unrestricted medical licensure in applicable state and board eligibility or board certification. DEA license required. In some business units, a satisfactory completion of a Tuberculosis test is a requirement for this position. 1-2 years experience Preferred Qualifications: Primary Care experience or Geriatric Managed Care experience Benefits: Full suite of benefits.
