**POSITION SUMMARY:**

The primary responsibility of the Receptionist is to perform a variety of clerical and administrative duties. All duties are performed in accordance with department guest service standards and MGM Resorts International policies, practices and procedures.

**PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**

+ Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.

+ Answer multi-line phone systems and direct calls to the appropriate staff/department.

+ Respond to all general e-mail correspondence from guests and staff.

+ Schedule conference calls and meetings for office staff

+ Maintain all office equipment as needed and coordinates repairs.

+ Work closely with the functional department groups as necessary.

+ Ensure that the Receptionist area is clean and looks neat for all incoming guests.

+ Inform management of all guest issues, needed supplies or equipment related issues.

+ Perform other job-related duties as requested.

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:**

+ Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms.

+ Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detail.

+ Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts.

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:**

+ Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.

**PREFERRED:**

+ High School diploma or equivalent

+ Experience working in a similar resort setting.
