As a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Hospice, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to children with life-limiting illnesses and their families. This is a full-time position with a $5K sign-on bonus. Responsibilities Provide care to children with life-limiting illnesses and their families in a hospice setting Conduct comprehensive physical exams, diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Educate patients and families on disease management, symptom control, and end-of-life care Provide emotional support to patients and families throughout the hospice journey Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research projects as needed Qualifications Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program Current and unrestricted state licensure as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner National certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (NPP) through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospice and palliative care Current National Provider Identifier (NPI) and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Commitment to providing compassionate care to children and families at the end of life If you are a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with a passion for hospice and palliative care, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
