Ultra Lounge/Lounge Server TD (Union)

The Ultra Lounge Lounge Server is primarily responsible for representing the brand of the venue while serving beverages and food to guests while promoting a positive guest experience. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and policies, practices and procedures

+ Provides extraordinary service consistent with the ARIA luxury brand standards and S.H.O.W. Service Basics

+ Greet guests in a timely manner and request primary beverage order

+ Initiate conversation with guests, inquiring about their satisfaction with the restaurant

+ Greet guests, present menus, answer questions and make suggestions regarding food and beverage

+ Actively take orders, give enticing suggestions, conduct full and complete food/wine/beverage service, and monitor guests’ dining experience

+ Maintain detailed knowledge of menu items, as well as wine lists, including: ingredients, preparation and sourcing

+ Exhibit proper knowledge, selling techniques and service delivery of all menu items, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages

+ Consistently follow sequence of service, utilizing all proper procedures standardized by room management

+ Itemize bills correctly and efficiently secure payment

+ Expedite drink orders for each party quickly and accurately

+ Serve refills upon request as well as follow up for additional beverage requirements

+ Keep tables neat and orderly by removing dishware no longer in use

+ Assist in the bussing and resetting of tables for next seating

+ Transport dishes and glassware from tables to kitchen and bar as needed

+ Adhere to all responsible alcohol serving requirements as dictated by the state; request identification from guest ordering alcohol when legal age is questionable

+ Anticipate guests’ needs, when possible, and provide extra items, drinks, and condiments to the table

+ Work as a team in order to assist with all guests’ and employees’ needs and inquiries

+ Effectively communicate with management, chefs and culinary staff in order to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests and/or other employees

+ Attend and actively participate in daily team updates and scheduled training sessions and retain knowledge covered therein

+ Represent the brand of the venue by posing in pictures for social media and marketing campaigns and promotional events on property and in public venues

+ Maintains complete knowledge of entire menu and proper food handling presentation and service

+ Maintains pleasant posture, movement, gestures and walking in line with fashion standards and trends as deemed by management

+ Consistently maintains a well-groomed appearance and hygiene in accordance with Company standards and the brand of the venue

+ Anticipate guest needs and provide service to each guest quickly and accurately; advises manager of any guest complaints

+ Perform other job related duties as requestedRequired:

+ At least one (1) year of cocktails and food service experience in a fast-paced environment

+ At least one (1) year of experience working in a similar resort setting

+ Ability to maintain complete knowledge of entire menu and proper food handling presentation and service

+ Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain calm in very high paced and stressful environment and work under pressure

+ Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests and other employees of the organization

+ Ability to perform administrative tasks

+ Ability to access all areas of the restaurant, withstand prolonged standing, stretching, bending, kneeling, lifting and carrying items

+ Ability to to work indoors, being exposed to such environmental conditions as noise, dust, cigarette and cigar smoke and varying lighting levels

+ Excellent customer service skills.

+ Strong attention to details, can make decisions quickly and delegate responsibilities accordingly

+ Excellent computer and multi-line phone skills

+ A highly motivated and energetic personality

+ Basic math skills

+ Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts

+ Professional appearance and demeanor

+ Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays

+ High school diploma or equivalent.

+ Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral formsPreferred:

+ At least two (2) year of cocktails and food service experience in a fast-paced environment

+ Modeling experience
