**PRIMARY PURPOSE:**

As a Crepe Maker, you will be responsible for crepe menu products and the cleanliness of the dining area. You will also set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create **WOW** memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.

**PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**

+ Refill crepe menu products, viennoiserie, pastries, gelato, ice coolers, reach-in beverage coolers, reach-in pantry coolers and condiment drawer

+ Communicate with management, chef and culinary staff in order to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests and or employees

+ Knowledgeable of retail pastry for wedding and special occasions

+ Prepare and serve food and beverage items

+ Perform opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment

+ Properly label date on products used in crepes

+ Clear tables and counters, sweep and maintain the cleanliness of the dining area without interfering with the comfort of guests when there is no crepe order

+ Use and clean equipment such as crepe machine, whipped cream machine, warmer, juicer, coffee maker, toaster, Panini machine, blender, soda machine, oven and steamer

+ Maintain stock volume by restocking the sales floor, receive, unpack and put away deliveries

+ Perform other job-related duties as requested

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:**

+ Ability to communicate effectively, concisely and logically in a timely manner and at an appropriate level, while maintaining confidentiality

+ General knowledge of mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and use of a calculator

+ Ability to use standard kitchen equipment, including, but not limited to crepe machine, whipped cream machine, toasters, refrigerators/coolers, slicers, beverage machines

+ Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills

+ Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detail

+ Ability to work under pressure

+ Knowledge of health, safety and sanitation regulations

+ Able to take initiative and exhibit flexibility

+ Highly motivated and energetic personality

+ Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms

+ Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:**

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ One (1) year of experience as a bakers’ helper

+ Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays

**PREFERRED:**

+ Two (2) years of customer service experience in a similar high-volume, fast paced restaurant environment

+ Three (3) years of experience as a bakers’ helper specializing in European chocolates and French pastries

+ Bilingual

+ Experience working in a similar resort setting
