Job Description

The Clinical Specialist role primarily covers the West Region of the United States, including Arizona, California, Nevada, Utah, Idaho, Oregon, Wyoming and Montana. The Clinical Specialist role is 100% field based and will require 65% travel. This position is responsible for following all standard operating procedures of the Lucid Testing Centers (LTCs) and Satellite LTCs and adhering to all quality regulations. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: · The Clinical Specialist is responsible for following all laboratory standard operating procedures and adhering to all quality regulations pertaining to Lucid Testing Centers and Satellite Lucid Testing Centers. · Adhere to all quality and compliance regulations. · Performs ESOCHECK administration · Maintains competency and participates in proficiency testing. · Establish cross-functional partnerships with the commercial team. · Demonstrate a high level of organizational, communication, and time management skills. · Ability to educate a variety of personnel on ESOCHECK and ESOGUARD processes and procedures with a high level of professionalism. · May be required to collect blood specimens through approved phlebotomy techniques This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary. EDUCATION, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, KNOWLEDGE, AUTHORITIES & ABILITIES: · Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or a related field preferred · BLS Certification · Must maintain a valid driver’s license. · Five years of clinical experience in gastroenterology or foregut surgery preferred · Two years of experience in a clinical education role preferred · Ability to travel 65% of the time. Travel requirements may increase or decrease based on business need · Ability to positively engage with patients, providers, and medical staff · Strong ability to work collaboratively with internal and external partners · Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Powerpoint, Excel) · Advanced presentation/public speaking skills · All employees are required to have completed an FDA-authorized or approved one or two-dose COVID-19 vaccination course, and any subsequent booster doses at the suggested intervals · Ability to adapt and be solution-oriented, navigating challenges with a positive mindset. · Ability to communicate effectively, attention to detail, cross-reference information, telephone skills, computer skills, and working knowledge of standard office equipment (computers, printers, fax machines, phone systems, office software, and the internet) · Must be a detail-oriented, organized self-starter with an ability to prioritize At PAVmed, we are deeply committed to diversity, inclusion and equity.
