CASINO PORTER
Job Description
It is the primary responsibility of the Casino Porter to maintain janitorial responsibility in public area walkways, casino, restrooms, restaurants, retail stores, office areas, and entrances to property. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices, and procedures.
Specific Job Functions:
+ Maintain cleanliness of property
+ Sweep around slot areas and clean slot machines, chairs, ashtrays, slot stands, walls, pillars, storage boxes, and outside of change booths
+ Clean restrooms including sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning urinals and toilets with proper chemicals, wiping down walls and mirrors, and vacuuming carpets
+ Vacuum carpets in the restaurants and retail stores, cleans and dusts shelves, and clean windows
+ Dust mop and wet mop marble floors and vacuum walkway carpets
+ Sweep sidewalks and driveway and replace full trash bags with clean bags
+ Vacuum carpets, dust shelves and cabinets, wipe down walls, and clean windows and mirrors in offices
+ Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department
+ At least six months experience in a related cleaning field required
+ Previous experience with a large hotel preferred
+ At least six months guest contact experience
+ Knowledge of general cleaning supplies
+ Communicate effectively in English both verbally and written forms
