BUSPERSON – SPORTS BAR
Job Description
It is the primary responsibility of the Bus Person – TI Sports Bar to maintain the cleanliness of the Sports Bar and assure that tables are in clean sanitary condition, working in conjunction with Cocktail Servers while providing the highest quality service in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with an upbeat and fun demeanor. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices, and procedures.
Specific Job Functions:
+ Provide exceptional service to customers while maintaining high standards of service
+ Possess complete food and beverage knowledge of all products served.
+ Clear, clean and sanitize tables completely
+ Clean and sanitize chairs
+ Work with server to ensure proper guest service
+ Maintain the cleanliness and restocking of all side stations
+ Conduct regular inventory and recommend product orders to Manager on Duty
+ Put away incoming supplies on pallet immediately upon arrival.
+ Assist with proper stock rotation.
+ Keep Sports Bar neat and orderly by disposing of trash and removing glassware, dishware and silverware no longer in use.
+ Place dirty dishes and utensils in bus tubs.
+ Clean and maintain all bus tubs continually throughout shift and deliver to dish room when full.
+ Sanitizer buckets are replaced and tested every two hours. Maintain accurate log sheet.
+ Empty garbage.
+ Polish silverware.
+ Stock silverware and napkins throughout the shift.
+ Maintain cleanliness of the Sports Bar area including floors, tables, ledges, and counters
+ Sweep and mop floors inside side stations as needed.
+ Communicate with fellow employees and Managers regarding Guest requests.
+ Consistently deliver exceptional service to every Guest while interacting in a professional manner.
+ Possess a positive attitude towards the Guest and fellow employees to meet and exceed TI Sports Bar standards.
+ Know all aspects of our business and match it to the Guest’s needs to exceed their expectations.
+ Make positive eye contact with the Guest.
+ Maintain alert posture, appearing approachable to Guests.
+ Maintain utmost respect and courtesy for Guests at all times.
+ Maintain professional and well groomed appearance, posture and hygiene.
+ Maintain sanitation, cleanliness, and insure the health and safety of our Guests and fellow employees at all times.
+ Maintain a clean and hygienic work station in accordance with Clark County Health Standards.
+ Possess the ability to work in a team environment
+ Maintain flexibility to perform other job related tasks as deemed necessary by management.
+ Work station must be maintained and left stocked in the proper location and cleaned for next shift
+ Be able to perform a task that requires standing and/or moving at a fast pace for periods of up to eight hours or longer
+ Communicate with Management to keep them informed of all special requests from a guest as well as any potential problems or concerns
+ Assist new employees with training and answering questions
+ Maintains quality service standards with all guests by creating a friendly, relaxed atmosphere while coordinating guest service requests.
+ Fulfill guest requests in a timely manner and assist guests with special requests.
+ Work special events as needed for successful operation of department.
+ Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department
+ Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
+ Minimum of six months high-volume Busperson Experience or bar/restaurant service experience preferred.
+ Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
+ Must have an excellent upbeat attitude with the ability to interact with people of diverse backgrounds
+ Must be able to read, write and speak English
