Bathhouse Massage Therapist – Mandalay Bay
Job Description
**PRIMARY PURPOSE:**
As a Massage Therapist, you will set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create **WOW** moments and memories they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us.
**PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service to exceed guest expectations
+ Follow all departmental policies and procedures, including safety and sanitation policies
+ Ensure guests are given the highest level of service by providing the most current information and techniques in massage modalities including but not limited to Swedish, Deep Tissue and related body services per treatment and department protocols
+ Promote and sell service treatments, enhancements, upgrades and retail products
+ Perform other job-related duties as requested
**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:**
+ Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
+ Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills
+ Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
+ Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards
**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:**
+ High school diploma or equivalent
**PREFERRED:**
+ One (1) year of guest service experience
+ One (1) year of experience as a massage therapist in a spa or salon environment
+ Experience in retail
