**PRIMARY PURPOSE:**

As a VIP Lounge Assistant Manager, you will set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW moments and memories they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us.

**PRINC** **IPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIB** **ILITIES:**

+ Assume full responsibility for the department in the absence of director or department head

+ Respond to guest service interactions in a professional and timely manner, achieving positive resolutions

+ Promote and develop team-oriented philosophy stressing the importance for providing unparalleled commitment to excellence in service

+ Oversee quality hiring, training, and succession planning processes that encompasses the Company’s diversity commitment

+ Ensure department standards for correct charging, postings, collecting payments, handling cash and credit transactions, and balancing of all cash and cash equivalent transactions.

+ Ensure hotel property and equipment is properly used and maintained.

+ Supervise VIP Representatives work performance and apply progressive discipline when appropriate.

+ Submit payroll for VIP staff and track attendance reports.

+ Order supplies for the department as necessary

+ Perform other job-related duties as requested

**PREFERRED:**

+ One (1) year of VIP Services, Front Desk, and/or Concierge experience

+ Three (3) years of Hotel Operations supervisory/managerial experience

+ Experience in a similar resort setting

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:**

+ Able to lead and mentor a team

+ Ability to make sound decisions immediately without supervision.

+ Ability to work under pressure.

+ Ability to read and write proficiently to evaluate reports, correspondence and statistical information.

+ Perception and awareness of individual needs and the ability to handle all situations calmly and professionally.

+ Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

+ Proficiency of computer software including Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as office equipment, i.e., telephone, copier, fax machine

+ Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detail.

+ Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills

+ Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts.

+ Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards.
